Sue Burns’ Tribute to Karleigh Ohara

Karleigh goes beyond her duties as a nurse… we work in a Longterm Care home in Hamilton Ontario and Karleigh is the nurse on our dementia unit. She has been working 16 hour shifts because we are short staffed most of the time putting aside that she is dealing with her own medical issues she still puts our residents first. We had managed to keep Covid 19 from affecting our unit since March because of Karleigh’s motivation to keep these residents safe… (keeping our fingers crossed this can continue.) We all appreciate your support for all of us frontline workers!
